How it compares in GPS, Finders & Accessories
Across the 46 rated gps, finders & accessories products we track, the typical score is 4.4 out of 5. This one sits at 4.0, which is in the bottom quarter of the category. That does not make it a bad buy, but there are better-rated alternatives on the same shelf, so it needs another reason to earn your money.
It carries 220 ratings against a category median of 1,403. That is a thin base by the standards of this category, so treat the score as provisional: a handful of extra reviews can still move it either way.
On price it sits in the lower third of a category running from £2.99 to £136, where the midpoint is about £14.99. Buying at the cheap end is fine when the rating holds up; check the specifics below rather than assuming the saving is free.

Key features, as the manufacturer lists them
Taken from the product listing via Amazon's product API. These are the seller's claims, not our test results.
- Track Your Items: This smart tag helps you precisely locate personal items such as luggage, keys, backpacks, bicycles, and wallets. Simply attach the Tag to your belongings and check their real-time location via your phone—whether they’re left behind at the office, a friend’s place, or still nearby. During travels, it also alerts you if your luggage is accidentally left at airports or other locations.
- Find Nearby: Open the FindMy app, select your tag, and tap "Play a Sound". If the tag is within Bluetooth range (~50 meters), it will emit a distinctive "dilidili" sound to help you locate it. Or simply "Ask Siri" to find your tag for hands-free searching. (Note: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled for both methods.)
- Find My Network: When your Tag goes out of Bluetooth range, Apple's FindMy network can help locate it through a global network of Apple devices. If your tag passes near any Apple device (iPhone/iPad/Mac), it will anonymously relay its encrypted location data to your iCloud account via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). All data is end-to-end encrypted—neither Apple nor third parties can access your location information directly.
- Left behind Alert: The Smart Tag's Left Behind mode proactively notifies your iPhone when you accidentally leave a tagged item behind. Uses Bluetooth proximity sensing to determine when your phone moves out of range from your belongings. Sends push notifications with item location details via the FindMy app. Adjustable distance thresholds in settings to reduce false alarms.
- Privacy First: Build in Apple Find My specifications, this tag employs military-grade end-to-end encryption to transmit anonymized location data. Neither Apple nor the manufacturer can access your identity or precise location. Secure data transmission without compromising battery life.
- Share More Worried Less: You can share the information of your tag with your family and friends at most 5 people. If they are using iPhones, they can also view location and play sound through the Findmy app like you.
