Flamefast Firelogs MDL Instant Light Smokeless Fire Logs sits in our fireplaces listings, where we rank by how buyers actually rate a product rather than by brand. The manufacturer says: Single individually wrapped firelog that burns up to 2 hours. The easy and convenient way to achieve a real fire in seconds, just light the wrapper. Those are the seller's own claims rather than our testing, so treat them as a starting point. On Amazon it holds 4.5 out of 5 from 3,979 ratings. How it compares in Fireplaces
Across the 30 rated fireplaces products we track, the typical score is 4.5 out of 5. This one sits at 4.5, which is around the middle of the category. Ratings alone will not separate it from its rivals here, so price and the specifics below matter more than the star count.
It carries 3,979 ratings against a category median of 435. A rating from a large base is harder to distort and tends to hold up over time, so a high score here means more than the same score on a new listing.
On price it sits in the upper third of a category running from £6.36 to £240, where the midpoint is about £13.78. Paying above the category norm needs a reason beyond the rating, because the score alone does not justify the gap here.
