The mistakes that waste frames
Three recur constantly. <strong>Opening the back mid-pack</strong> exposes and ruins the remaining film, so never open it until the counter reads zero. <strong>Shooting into strong backlight</strong>, because the small lens and fixed film speed cannot recover a bright background, so put the sun behind you. And <strong>shaking the print</strong>, which does nothing helpful and can cause blotching; the image develops on its own in a few minutes.
One more: the film has a minimum focus distance, typically around 60cm on the standard mini cameras. Closer than that and you get a blurred frame, which is the single most common cause of a wasted shot at parties.
