CLASSIC Crystal Deluxe 'Large' - Small Animal Drinking sits in our small animals listings, where we rank by how buyers actually rate a product rather than by brand. The manufacturer says: DRIP - NO WET BEDDING - Twin stainless steel ball bearings hold water back until your pet licks the spout, so bedding stays dry and the cage stays cleaner. 600ml holds a full day's water for one or two adult rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets or rats, so you can top up once and know they are covered. Those are the seller's own claims rather than our testing, so treat them as a starting point. On Amazon it holds 4.4 out of 5 from 18,347 ratings. What that score is worth next to its rivals is set out below.

How it compares in Small Animals
Across the 49 rated small animals products we track, the typical score is 4.6 out of 5. This one sits at 4.4, which is in the bottom quarter of the category. That does not make it a bad buy, but there are better-rated alternatives on the same shelf, so it needs another reason to earn your money.
It carries 18,347 ratings against a category median of 1,371. A rating from a large base is harder to distort and tends to hold up over time, so a high score here means more than the same score on a new listing.
On price it sits in the middle third of a category running from £0.91 to £29.99, where the midpoint is about £7.49. That is the part of the range where most sensible buys sit, neither cutting corners nor paying for the name.

Taken from the product listing via Amazon's product API. These are the seller's claims, not our test results.
