BUG OFF Bugoff Sticky Fly Glue Trap Tape, Pack sits in our gardening listings, where we rank by how buyers actually rate a product rather than by brand. The manufacturer says: Bugoff fly glue trap tape with strong double-sided adhesive on tough paper rolls; fix the supplied pin into a solid surface and let the trap hang free, not under tension. No bait, lure or attractant; flies are caught as they land, so hang near windows, light sources, waste bins, food areas or doorways where flies already gather, at the height flies are seen. Those are the seller's own claims rather than our testing, so treat them as a starting point. On Amazon it holds 3.9 out of 5 from 4,172 ratings. Across the 39 rated gardening products we track, the typical score is 4.4 out of 5. This one sits at 3.9, which is in the bottom quarter of the category. That does not make it a bad buy, but there are better-rated alternatives on the same shelf, so it needs another reason to earn your money.

On price it sits in the lower third of a category running from £3.99 to £29.78, where the midpoint is about £8.99. Buying at the cheap end is fine when the rating holds up; check the specifics below rather than assuming the saving is free.

Key features, as the manufacturer lists them
Taken from the product listing via Amazon's product API. These are the seller's claims, not our test results.
- Durable Sticky Trap Design – Bugoff fly glue trap tape with strong double-sided adhesive on tough paper rolls; fix the supplied pin into a solid surface and let the trap hang free, not under tension, for a longer working life.
- Passive Fly Catcher, Placement Is Everything – No bait, lure or attractant; flies are caught as they land, so hang near windows, light sources, waste bins, food areas or doorways where flies already gather, at the height flies are seen.
- Easy to Set Up – Pull the ribbon out to its full length in one movement; do not touch the adhesive or let it touch walls or curtains, and do not re-wind once extended. No poisons, sprays, vapour or mess.
- Indoor & Sheltered Outdoor Use – For kitchens, hallways, conservatories, covered porches, patios, greenhouses and stables; avoid rain, dust, direct sun and draughts, which disable the adhesive. Replace once the surface is loaded with catch or dust.
- Safety First – Strong adhesive: keep out of reach of children and pets and do not hang above food, drink or food preparation surfaces. Remove adhesive from skin or hair with cooking oil, then soap and warm water.
