How it compares in Basketball
Across the 22 rated basketball products we track, the typical score is 4.3 out of 5. This one sits at 4.1, which is in the bottom quarter of the category. That does not make it a bad buy, but there are better-rated alternatives on the same shelf, so it needs another reason to earn your money.
It carries 345 ratings against a category median of 527. That is enough of a base to take the score seriously without treating it as settled.
On price it sits in the middle third of a category running from £4.99 to £28.99, where the midpoint is about £15.99. That is the part of the range where most sensible buys sit, neither cutting corners nor paying for the name.
