Our verdict
Choose the Bluey talking plush if your child is a Bluey fan and will enjoy pressing the tummy for phrases and the theme song. Choose the Zappi Co plush if you want a small, quiet, simple animal for a nursery, a gift bag or a bedtime companion. They aren't really rivals: one is a character toy with electronics, the other is a plain plush in the 12 to 15 cm range. The Zappi listing also says it can be washed at 40 degrees, which the Bluey listing doesn't claim.

Size and what each toy does
The Zappi Co plush is small: the title gives 12 to 15 cm. The listing shows a flamingo, a lion and other animals under the same product line, so check which animal you're getting before ordering. It's a plain plush, with firmly set eyes and strong stitching according to the listing.
The Bluey toy is 13 inches tall. Pressing the tummy triggers sounds. The listing says Bluey has 9 different phrases and can sing along to the theme song. That makes it far more of an active toy, and it will be louder in a quiet room.
Washing and care
The Zappi Co listing says the plush can be washed at 40 degrees and describes it as machine washable on a gentle cycle. That's the seller's wording, so check the care label on the toy itself.
The Bluey listing gives no washing guidance in its bullets. With electronics inside, assume it's surface clean only unless the care label says otherwise.
Age and safety
The Bluey listing text refers to ages 3 and over. The Zappi Co bullets don't state an age grade, so check the packaging and label for the manufacturer's age marking before giving it to a baby. A small plush with firmly stitched eyes is a good sign, but that is the seller's claim.
For the talking Bluey, check the battery compartment is secured and keep spare batteries away from small children.
